The wet snow fell to the ground in a mini blizzard, dissolving as they hit the floor. I clambered out to the garage wearing my brothers size 13 shoes and C's hoody I was lent.
I switched on the light, though it takes a good few seconds to turn on, I closed the door behind me and stood in the dark. The light flickered before revealing to me the inside of my garage. I went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of cider before deciding to retreat back to the house, having to face the wet first.
I launched myself into the kitchen and kicked off the clown shoes, quickly snapped off the bottle top and ran back into the livingroom where I dove under the brown bobbled blanket for warmth.
I looked at the gleaming lights grasping onto the tree, with the faint noise of the grinch in the background, playing on the tv. I just smiled to myself thinking of this christmas. The colourful golden boxes under the tree on christmas day, drinking malt cider and visiting starbucks with L & L sipping on the new gingerbread latte. Whipped cream on top if i'm feeling naughty.
I peered through the window to see if the snow had let up but it continued to fall. I do like the snow when it sets, but the cold wet mush does no help for anyone. I relived the time I was younger and ran out into the deep 3 ft snow that had dropped in one night, lay in the snow and though about how a blanket of snow was a lot colder than a normal blanket.
I jolted back into the room as I heard the muffled noise of christmas music, and my doorbell ringing. It was the fake santa bringing round chocolate for people who gave a donation, I obliged by dropping in one pound and recieving popping chocolate.
I closed the door after wishing the elf a merry christmas and dreamt of what was to come this term. I can't wait.
